Why put Windows on a Mac?
Everyone loves Macs because they look great. But not everyone loves OSX (the operating system Apple puts on Macs).
Some people are used to Windows and like how it works and like knowing how it works.
Some people are too old and stubborn to learn a new system!
Even more people have concerns about compatibility - it’s no good working from home on your Mac if none of the work you do can be opened on the computers back in the office.
Apple pretty much admitted that this was the case when they released a utility called ‘boot camp’ that allowed users to install Windows on their Macs. It works (very vell) but it can be a bit fiddly to setup properly and requires a level of IT knowledge to install.
